Men of Action and Change
Founded 1997
The purpose of Men of Action and Change at the State University of New York
College at Geneseo is to foster an inclusive community of driven individuals
committed to personal growth, academic excellence, and societal
engagement.
Guided by our core pillars of Service, Scholarship, Unity, Fitness, and Loyalty,
we aim to:
- Cultivate a culture of altruism and civic responsibility through
dedicated service and volunteer efforts. - Promote an academic environment that encourages lifelong learning,
intellectual curiosity, and scholarly achievement. - Strengthen bonds among members and within the broader
community by advocating for inclusivity, mutual respect, and collective unity,
ensuring MAC remains a safe and welcoming space for all. - Advocate for the importance of physical and mental health/well-being
as fundamental components of a balanced and productive life. - Uphold a steadfast commitment to the values and objectives of our
organization, fostering a legacy of loyalty, trust and integrity.
We are dedicated to maintaining a safe space for all current and prospective
members, where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. By living
these values, we strive to develop leaders of character and impact, who will
positively influence our campus, community, and society.
