I’m currently in my second academic year at the University of Rochester, working toward a degree in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Mind, Body, Healing, and Wellness which focuses on techniques that enhance the mind’s positive impact on the body through behavioral, psychological, social, expressive, and spiritual approaches.
I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and moved to Buffalo in 2020 for college, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Hilbert College in 2023. While there, I was also a student-athlete, which taught me the importance of balancing physical and mental health. Yoga and meditation were crucial in helping me manage the challenges of being a student-athlete, especially during periods of burnout.
I’m so excited to be here at SUNY Geneseo, where I get to put what I’ve been learning into practice and continue growing as a counselor. My passion is helping others achieve balance and well-being, and I hope to bring a holistic, compassionate approach to the work I do with clients.
