My name is Caity Matteson and I am one of the Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) here in Student Health and Counseling!
I have been a nurse for over 10 years and truly love what I do.
You can find me around the office in a few different roles depending on the day.
I am often the first person you may see or talk to when you come in or call. I may also be the nurse doing your blood draw or assisting the provider with any testing or procedures that are ordered.
You can also schedule your own basic nurse visits with me for blood draws, medication injections, asymptomatic STI testing, etc.
I always strive to be warm and friendly and to make everyone feel comfortable and safe within my presence. I really enjoy not only caring for you but getting to know you and who you are as a person as well.
I was born and raised here in Livingston county and do consider myself somewhat of your “local” expert ( if you need any good restaurant recs, fun things to do, or places to go, I am your girl! )
I currently live in Geneseo with my husband Chris, our daughters Ava & Mia, and our two mini goldendoodles Bo & Cali - so if you see us around town make sure to say hi!
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and comedy shows, reading, cooking, using my Peloton, decorating my home, and watching football on Sundays. Go Bills!
