Governance General Interest

The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Statement on Government of Colleges and Universities, adopted in 1967 and revised in 1990, is often referred to as a foundational document.

In 1987, the National Education Association (NEA) also published a policy statement on Faculty Governance in Higher Education. That link is to a Wikipedia description, as the policy has disappeared from the NEA website.
