Position Summary |
HIGHLIGHTS Plant Utilities Engineers 3 plan, direct and coordinate the activities of and/or have overall supervisory responsibility for the overall physical plant engaged in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing and calibration of mechanical and electrical equipment providing heat, hot water, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical distribution in the most efficient and safest way possible. |
Preferred Qualifications |
DIVISION OPERATING NEEDS -Working knowledge of the construction and the safe and efficient operation of boilers, chillers, auxiliary heating, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment, and high and low voltage electrical and generating equipment. |
Required Qualifications |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS One year of permanent service as a Plant Utilities Engineer 2. Two years of permanent service as a Plant Utilities Engineer 1. |

This position is supervised by the Associate Director of Facilities Services. |

This position supervises a Plant Utilities Engineer 2, several Plant Utilities Engineer’s 1, and has oversight of the Plant Utilities Assistant’s and the Plant Utilities Helpers. |
