About Community Resource Network Meetings
- Round-Table Discussion: At the meetings everyone has a chance to give an update about their program, about any events or issues they have, and to distribute information.
- We usually have an agency presentation, guest speaker or a discussion about challenges within our work
- An in-service program for professional development is offered each year. Past in-service topics include Advocacy Skills, Grant Writing, Stress Management, Coalition Building, Volunteer Management, Working with the Media, Promoting Latino Culture, Running Major Events, as well as nationally known Leadership programs such as FISH and Who Moved My Cheese?
- The June meeting traditional has been an informal luncheon that provides an opportunity to socialize, as well as to network. Each member is asked to bring a dish to pass.
