AOP General Information

The Isom E. Fearn Access Opportunity Programs (AOP) assists SUNY Geneseo in meeting the higher educational aspirations of academically talented students who face academic and financial uncertainty in their pursuit of post-secondary level of education.  The programs that are united under the AOP department are the Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) the TRIO Student Support Services Program and the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program.  While the programs serve different segments of society, they are similar in that they all provide educational access opportunities and academic support services to participants.  Eligibility for these programs varies.  

All programs under the umbrella of AOP are committed to serving our students through personal advising, academic support, and through opening doors to new and unexplored possibilities.
