Friday Knight Alumni Spotlight Q&A
Tell us about yourself. Where you live now, career, and/or family news. What have you been up to since you left Geneseo?
After (reluctantly!) leaving Geneseo after graduation, I earned my M.S. in School Counseling at the College of New Rochelle. After doing counseling work through Project Liberty and the NYC Dept of Ed, I started teaching Spanish in NYC. 18 years later, I’m still teaching 5th to 8th graders in the Bronx. I live in Chappaqua, NY (nope - not near the Clintons!) with my husband Phil, and three boys ages 12, 10 and 5.
What was your very first job?
Day camp counselor
If you didn't have to sleep what would you do with the extra time?
Finally organize all my loose pictures into albums!
