On behalf of the Division of Finance and Administration, we are very pleased to announce the internal promotion of Tom Underwood to Director of Procurement & Central Services following Becky Anchor’s recent retirement. We are appreciative of Becky’s leadership in procurement over the years and the high level of service she maintained, and we are confident that Tom’s leadership will continue to meet that high standard.
Tom is a 21-year veteran of SUNY Geneseo, won the 2018 Joanne Fazioli SUNY Procurement Award, led the implementation and rollout of the SUNY-wide initiative for the Jaggaer eProcurement system (locally called KnightSource) now utilized by over 18 campuses. He was also part of the purchasing group that was awarded the SUNY University Award for Systemness Innovation in 2013.
