Why study psychology at Geneseo?
A growing need for mental health professionals in the US makes the psychology field of great interest. As the world population becomes more diversified, the need for understanding human diversity and personality types only increases.
All people need to understand the stages of human development and how early experiences shape behavior later in life. Rising rates of mental health deficiencies and mental illness require a greater understanding of how the brain mediates behavior.
Psychology programs such as Geneseo’s allow you to learn about yourself, which is perhaps the most useful education of all.
