Dentistry 4+4

Why pursue dentistry at Geneseo?

A partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine facilitates early admission and guarantees SUNY Geneseo five spots in each year’s student cohort. Based on a successful interview within their first two years at Geneseo, students will be offered provisional admission to LECOM. Geneseo graduates of any major with sufficient pre-med coursework can enter LECOM and work toward a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree.

LECOM offers the DDM degree through a full-time, four-year pathway with the first three years at the Bradenton, FL, campus and the fourth year either at the Erie, PA, or DeFuniak Springs, FL, dental clinics.
