Business Administration
Why study business administration at Geneseo?
Business administration students acquire the knowledge and skills to manage and lead in a globally complex business world and in a socially responsible manner. The core curriculum provides a thorough knowledge of accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, global issues, management, leadership, marketing, and technology. Students also develop skills in communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Internship opportunities earn students academic credit while providing valuable real-world work experience, and the major opens doors to entry-level positions in business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. Students are encouraged to get involved in directed studies, internships, study abroad, field experiences, and academic conferences. Faculty support academic and professional advisement, individual student-faculty research, and field and study abroad opportunities.
