- Post Your Opportunities and Recruit Students on Handshake

The Career Design Center uses Handshake as our online job and internship posting platform. Employers can post internships and part-and full-time positions in Handshake, which is a strong starting point for recruitment needs. Posting your position in Handshake provides equitable access to opportunities for all Geneseo students and also alumni (where appropriate). If you do not have a Handshake account, create one here.

Share with the Larger Handshake Community
Posting on Handshake with SUNY Geneseo gives you access to all campuses using Handshake, including the majority of schools in the greater Rochester area. When creating your posting, you can designate to share your posting with specific schools or post to all.Source Students

- Marketing Events and Opportunities

The Career Design Center can promote opportunities and events through a variety of marketing channels to students, faculty, alumni, and appropriate campus departments. What to send: details about the opportunity, organization logo, images and flyers, and recruitment videos. PNG or JPEG format for images are preferred.
Career Design Center staff members are available to discuss additional marketing and promotional strategies. Please send marketing materials or any questions to careers@geneseo.edu.

The Career Design Center hosts a Graduate School Fair annually in October to provide graduate school recruiters with an opportunity to connect with students. The 2024 Graduate School Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 23 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Register today!
