SUGGESTIONS FOR KEEPING UP

1. Read each section the night before I cover it, after I cover it and sometime again before you are quizzed/tested on it.

2. Do each assignment the same day after cover it and sometime again before you are quizzed/tested on it. Repeat a few of these problems before beginning the assignment after the next class. Weekly quiz problems are taken from the assignments, examples done in class, or the examples done in the text.

3. Buddy-up with someone and alternate taking notes

4. Ask questions to slow me down—don’t wait for me to call on you

5. Ask me to repeat things or explain things more slowly

6. Come to office hours

7. Go to the Math Learning Center in South 332.
