SUNY Geneseo student-athletes to
rake leaves for senior citizens
WHAT:
A SUNYAC-wide (State University of New York Athletic
Commission) leaf-raking drive to benefit senior citizens. For the last two
years, student-athletes from the State University of New York at Geneseo have
raked roughly 50-55 yards throughout the village over a span of three hours.
This will be the 15th year the College is participating in the
event.
WHO:
Approximately 200 students-athletes will participate
from all 20 Geneseo athletic teams.
WHEN:
The leaf raking will take place from 10 a.m.
until 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5.
WHERE:
The students will be spread out over the village,
starting at Westview Crescent and Stuyvesant Manor early in the day and moving
to the Lima Road/Melody Lane area toward the end of the day.
