THURSDAY, FEBRUARY
28:
LOCKHART GALLERY: The Lockhart Gallery, located in the McClellan House,
26 Main St., Geneseo, presents Perilous Worlds of Olive Ahyens. Paintings and Works on Paper. At 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, an artist
talk will be held with an opening reception following from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit
runs through Saturday, March 29 and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m.
Mondays-Saturdays and noon-8 p.m. Thursdays.

SATURDAY, MARCH 1:

SQUARE DANCE: A square dance with the Geneseo String Band will be
held at 8 p.m. in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom. Admission for the general public is $3,
students and spectators $1 and 12 and under are free.
BALLET: The SUNY Geneseo Limelight & Accents Series will
present Alonzo King's LINES Ballet at 8 p.m. in Wadsworth Auditorium. LINES
ballet, an international touring company based in San Francisco, performs
unique contemporary ballets created by Alonzo King. After more than 25 years, King's choreography is renowned
for its ability to connect audiences to a profound sense of shared humanity,
vulnerability, and tenderness, but also of furious abandon and exhilarating
freedom. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for 12 and under, $12 for
faculty/staff/alumni, and $15 for the general public. To purchase tickets, call the Student Association Ticket
Office at (585) 245-5873 or (800) 525-2070. The SUNY Geneseo Limelight &
Accents Series is funded by mandatory Student Association fees and coordinated
by the college's Activities Commission.

CHORUS: Geneseo Chamber Singers and Carol Choristers. Gerard Floriano,
Conductor. 3 p.m. at Central
Presbyterian Church, Geneseo. Free and open to the public.
MONDAY, MARCH 3:

LEDERER GALLERY: The Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery in Brodie Hall presents "Juried Student
Exhibition." Guest jurors judge student submissions for excellence. A reception
and awards ceremony will be held from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 5. The gallery is open from noon-4 p.m.
Mondays-Thursdays and 12-6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The exhibit runs from
Monday, March 3 through Thursday, March 13, and is free and open to the public.
