CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR MAR. 4 - MAR. 10

THURSDAY, MARCH 4:

FILM: The International Film Series presents the film "Kolya." The film is in Czech with English subtitles. Themes of Russian/Czech interpersonal relations and Soviet/Czech political relations are depicted in this charming movie that tells the story of how a woman and her six-year-old Russian son win the heart of a confirmed bachelor. Winner of an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film. The discussants will be Political Science Department Chair and Professor Robert F. Goeckel and Foreign Languages and Literatures Professor Cynthia Klima. 7 p.m., International Cinema Center, Guy A. Bailey Hall Auditorium (135). Free and open to the public.

LOCKHART GALLERY EXHIBIT: The Lockhart Gallery, located in the McClellan House at 26 Main St., Geneseo, presents "Architecture: Process and Perception," an exploration of the design process by Timothy A. Brinduse. The exhibit is a visual exploration of the relationship between the design process (art in the form of sketches, models, and renderings) and the actual buildings created (the art of spatial perception). The gallery is open daily from 2-5 p.m. and Thursdays 12-8 p.m. Opening reception, Friday, February 13, 6-8 p.m. Free and open to the public. The exhibit runs through Friday, March 5.

ART EXHIBITION: The Opus Gallery presents a Geneseo Elementary School art exhibition. Gallery hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Opening reception February 27, 4-6 p.m. Free and open to the public. Exhibit to run through March 5.

MUSICAL THEATER CLUB REVUE: The School of Performing Arts presents the Musical Theater Club Revue. 8 p.m., Alice Austin Theater. Donations accepted at the door.

HIGH SCHOOL EXHIBIT: The Lederer Gallery presents the Livingston County High School Exhibit. Lederer Gallery hours are 2-4:30 p.m. daily and Thursday 12-8 p.m. Free and open to the public. Exhibit to run through March 19.
