Kognito At-Risk for University and College Faculty & Staff and At-Risk for College Students and Student Leaders are a pair of online, interactive courses which utilize conversation simulations featuring virtual humans. These are designed to help users learn how to approach at-risk students and to make appropriate referrals to campus support services.

College can be stressful at times, and we want to help! Whether you are a student or a faculty/staff member, Kognito's At-Risk programs can provide you with opportunities to practice conversations so that you will know what to say to a student in real life.

To try one of Kognito's programs, follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Go to kognitocampus.com.
  2. Create a FREE account with your name, email address, and a password.
  3. Enter one of the two enrollment keys:
    for Faculty/Staff:  sunygenfac
    for Students:  sunygen16

The student program requires approximately 30 minutes, and the faculty/staff version 40 minutes. You can stop either simulation at any time and resume at a later date.
