If your an alum wishing to receive career advice from another alumni:
There is a step in the advisor registration process that asks new registrants to confirm if they'd like to be and advisee, an advisor, or both. If alumni registrants select the advisee or both option shown in the screenshot below, they will be able to register for access to book meetings with other alums.

Big Interview
To create an account, click on register, and fill out the required information using your personal email. The organization code is GeneseoKnight.
CareerShift
As an alum, you will need to use your personal email to set up a CareerShift account. In the "Group or School Identifier" field, be sure to enter Geneseo.
FOCUS 2
If you created an account as a student:
Use your FOCUS 2 username and password to log in. Since your geneseo.edu account has expired or will soon, you should update your email address to your personal email by clicking on the My Account tab at the top of the screen once logged in. If you do not remember your credentials to log in to FOCUS 2, contact the Career Design Center at careers@geneseo.edu indicating the email address you would like to use for the account, and we can email your log in credentials to you at the updated email address.

To create a new account
Visit the link and select register. Use your personal email and our access code knight to set up and use FOCUS 2. When asked for a year of graduation during the registration process, select "Alumni."
Handshake
Recent Graduates:
Before losing access to your Geneseo single sign on credentials, be sure to update the email address that is associated with your Handshake account using the settings menu. You can then access Handshake by using the primary email you added to your Handshake account.
If you are unable to log in using you institution or primary email, please contact the Career Design Center at careers@geneseo.edu with your full name (include any maiden names), preferred personal email address, and graduation year.
Once these updates have been made, you will log in to Handshake using your primary email address and Handshake password.
For knights that graduated prior to 2018:
Please see this article (specifically under the "What if no account is found for my email?" section) Since your geneseo.edu email address is no longer active, you will need to use a personal email address to request access to Handshake. A Career Design Center staff member will need to approve your account before you will gain access to Handshake.
